As part of our ongoing work, ASBC has been engaged with the Biden-Harris Agency Review Teams throughout the White House administration transition, leading up to the inauguration in January 2021. We are continuing to engage stakeholders across our issue areas to bring timely and concrete recommendations for these teams. ASBC has developed this memo for the Agency Review Team of the Small Business Administration, high-lighting key issues to their team. Top line issues discussed include expanding federal tools for investment, expands programs that support women and minority owned businesses, establishing a direct small-business loan program, and continuing to promote crowdfunding investment options through SBDCs.
ASBC recently met with the Agency Review Team supporting the Department of Agriculture through the White House transition to discuss key issue areas of advocacy from ASBC’s Regenerative Agriculture and Farm Justice Working Group.
