ASBC recently met with the Agency Review Team supporting the Department of Labor through the White House transition, in order to discuss key issue areas of advocacy from the ASBC community. Top line issues discussed include the ongoing fight for federal paid family leave, universal broadband access, minimum wage, worker ownership and race & equity. We heard from a wide range of experts in our community – April de Simone, from Designing the WE, Joy Sterling from Iron Horse Vineyards, Joe Kenner from Greyston Bakery, Joe Sanberg from Aspiration Bank and Denise Bowyer from American Income Life.
