In a recent executive order, the Biden-Harris administration has created a working group on the Social Cost of Greenhouse Gases. This working group is responsible for conducting accurate measurements on the “social cost” of various greenhouse gas emissions. The social cost measurement will include the repercussions of emissions on human health, agriculture, property, and money, enabling more effective analysis of the issues and effects surrounding climate pollution.
