The Artic National Wildlife Refuge
The American Sustainable Business Network is pleased to announce that after years of mobilizing business leaders to protect our ecosystems, during their first day in office the Biden-Harris administration has placed a temporary moratorium on the exploitation of Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. We hope this measure will eventually become permanent as the extraction of fossil fuels represents a violation of the National Environmental Policy Act as well as an imminent threat to this endangered ecosystem and its wildlife.
Ensuring the wellbeing of America’s environment should continue to be an utmost priority for the incoming administration. At ASBN we are looking forward to continuing our defense of the National Wildlife Refuge and any other sensitive ecosystem in the country.
