Innovator and role model Jeffrey Hollender exemplifies leadership of successful firms conducted with regard for people and planet as well as profits. A key co-founder of ASBC in 2009, Hollender chairs the ASBC board of directors. Currently, he also serves as CEO, overseeing this organization that represents more than 250,000 businesses in a wide range of industries through its national member network. Hollender previously founded and served as CEO of the successful natural products company Seventh Generation, which he built into a leading brand respected for its authenticity, transparency and high-road business practices. More recently, he co-founded Sustain Natural, which develops and markets sustainable feminine care products. He is also a strategic advisor and former board chair of Greenpeace USA. Tireless in his efforts to share the possibilities of business aligned with sustainability, Hollender e is an adjunct professor of sustainability and social entrepreneurship at the Stern Business School, New York University. He is also the author of seven books, including , The Responsibility Revolution: How the Next Generation of Businesses Will Win and Planet Home.
