Gary Cohen

Gary Cohen is the co-founder, President and Executive Director of Health Care Without Harm (HCWH), an international campaign for environmentally responsible health care. HCWH has partners in 35 countries and also manages Practice Greenhealth, a U.S. membership organization with 1,100 hospitals and 80 businesses. He is also the executive director of the Environmental Health Fund, which works on domestic chemical safety issues. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the Sambhavna Clinic, which provides health care to survivors of the Union Carbide disaster in Bhopal, India. Mr. Cohen was awarded the Skoll Global Award for Social Entrepreneurship in 2006 and the Frank Hatch Award for Enlightened Public Service in 2007.
