ASBC recently met with the Agency Review Team supporting the Department of Agriculture through the White House transition to discuss key issue areas of advocacy from ASBC’s Regenerative Agriculture and Farm Justice Working Group. Topline issues discussed included maximizing USDA support for regenerative and organic agriculture, ensuring equity in USDA program access, addressing the USDA’s historic injustices, and building resilience throughout the agricultural value chain. We heard from a wide range of experts in our community:
