As Senior Manager of Government and Public Relations in the Americas for The LEGO Group, Karen represents the LEGO citizenship agenda, focusing on the LEGO Planet Promise and Learning Through Play initiatives. She brings a wealth of experience as a political analyst, international environmental advocate and tireless crusader for innovative problem-solving. Karen works across The LEGO Group to unite leading voices for change around practical policy solutions. Previously, Karen served as Director for Strategic Initiatives at the Alliance to Save Energy, an international energy efficiency advocacy organization. She was the organizational lead for the 50×50 Transportation initiative, driving industry unity around ambitious efficiency targets in the US transportation sector as well as the EP100 corporate commitment campaign to improve energy productivity. Karen has an MA in international affairs from George Washington University and a BA in political science from Lewis & Clark College.
